Majors
Internationality, Interdisciplinarity, and an Advanced Approach: For a New Generation of Legal Professionals
The Law School offers two programs: the Major in Legal Practice for aspiring legal professionals and the Master of Laws (LL.M) in Global Legal Practice, where all classes are conducted in English. At the heart of our education lie our three core principles: internationality, interdisciplinarity, and an advanced approach.
Major in Legal Practice
This major (law school) is designed for students aiming to pass the bar examination and become legal professionals. It also cultivates a strong foundation for a long and active career at the forefront of society.
Master of Laws (LL.M) in Global Legal Practice
This is a one-year program where all classes are conducted in English. It aims to cultivate professionals equipped with advanced legal expertise, a broad perspective, and practical skills, enabling them to play an active role in the field of international legal practice. (Completion of this program does not qualify graduates to take the Japanese bar examination.)
