Department of Law

The Department of Law does not aim solely to train legal professionals. Our goal is to cultivate the "legal mind"—the ability to perceive social phenomena legally—which is required in the fields of justice, administration, business, and daily life. Therefore, the curriculum is designed to first build a solid foundation by studying the Constitution, Civil Law, and Criminal Law, and then to deepen expertise through core and advanced courses according to each student's interests.

Jurisprudence is by no means something that can only be understood by a handful of experts. It is a means to confront individual problems and to envision the ideal state of human society.
