Event Outline:
Since the 1960s, Mr. Seiji Shimoda has been a leading figure in Japanese performance art. He is invited to international art exhibitions more than five times a year and has also conducted numerous workshops overseas. In Japan, he presides over the Nippon International Performance Art Festival (NIPAF), inviting artists from Asia and Europe to hold several festivals each year. For this event, he will conduct a workshop on performance art. Various insights are expected to be gained through this art form that utilizes the body.
