Theme

The young Austrian author Clemens J. Setz, who has just published his much-talked-about work "Bot: A Dialogue Without an Author," will visit Japan on the occasion of receiving the 3rd Merck "Kakehashi" Literature Prize 2018 from the Goethe-Institut Tokyo. In this event, we will welcome Mr. Setz to the Mita Campus, where he will give a reading of his work. Following this, we will hear him speak about his work and creative process and hold a discussion on the concept of the "author" in an age of rapid IT development, including AI.
