Keio University (Department of French Literature and Geibun Gakkai [Arts and Letters Society]) and Sorbonne University will hold an international symposium as detailed below. Speakers will include Professor Alexandre (Sorbonne University), an expert in modern French literature invited through the Top Global University Project, and Moriaki Watanabe, the director who garnered attention for the Japanese premiere of Claudel's masterpiece "The Satin Slipper." There will also be a roundtable with Noh performers. We hope you will join us. (Admission is free, and no prior registration is required.)
(While events are being planned in 2018 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Claudel's birth, this symposium is a separate, inter-university project.)
