Abstract | Since the advent of ChatGPT, significant attention has been focused on the potential impact of generative AI on research and education. The purpose of this monthly meeting is not to focus on the technical aspects of generative AI, but rather to consider how to approach research and education in an era where it is a given, by sharing use cases and applications. Three speakers will each report on their respective topics: Yosuke Miyata on the responses from academic societies, publishers, and the educational and research fields; Itsuro Tajima on its use as a research and writing support tool; and So Miyagawa on its applications in areas such as linguistic research. Following the presentations, we aim to create an opportunity for participants to discuss the future. |
