Information Session Held for Parents of Students from Affiliated Schools

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, the Faculty of Letters held an information session for parents of students from affiliated schools within Keio at the North Hall on the Mita Campus. As this was the first in-person session in three years, many parents attended. At the session, following a greeting from Dean Keiko Kurata, Vice-Dean Hisanori Tsuge provided an explanation covering the features of the Faculty of Letters, its history, philosophy and goals, the structure of its majors and fields, faculty members and courses offered, admission status including advancement from within Keio, the four-year curriculum, course content, study abroad opportunities, qualifications that can be obtained, career paths after graduation, and the employment status of graduates. Additionally, there was a lively Q&A session between the parents and the Dean and Vice-Dean.
