Ms. Arai received her doctorate in the 2020 academic year from the Ph.D. program at Tokyo University of the Arts and has consistently presented works on the theme of community. In her work, she explores the experience of "becoming" as an artistic practice and develops autoethnography in her doctoral dissertation. In this lecture, she will discuss artistic practices related to community and society, focusing on the themes of community, others, and the self.
