Summary of the Lecture:
Analog games have been steadily gaining popularity in recent years. By playing analog games, players can understand the problem structures inherent in the games and their rules, and potentially apply this understanding to comprehend real-world problems and change their behavior toward solving them. Mr. Taichi Matsumoto has independently developed "Analog Game Therapeutic Education," a method that uses card and board games to improve the communication skills of people with developmental disabilities, and has been implementing it in therapeutic and employment support institutions. He holds lectures and workshops on these initiatives in various locations. In this session, he will share his unique ideas, including a demonstration of analog games, and provide an opportunity to stimulate discussion on how analog games can be utilized according to the interests of the members.
