Beethoven led the "modern" era by opening up new dimensions for both thought and musical expression, introducing the new approach of "thinking through sound." Under him, the "spirit" manifested itself as sound. This is a ten-part lecture series in which a pianist and a philosopher delve into his world of works. The second installment will focus on the emotion of "sorrow."
