Keio University (Department of French Literature and Geibun Gakkai) and Sorbonne University will hold an international symposium as detailed below. Speakers will include Professor Alexandre (Sorbonne University), a specialist in contemporary French literature invited through the Top Global University Project, and Mr. Moriaki Watanabe, the acclaimed director of the Japanese premiere of Claudel's masterpiece "The Satin Slipper." There will also be a roundtable discussion featuring Noh performers. We hope you will join us. (Admission is free and no prior registration is required.)
(While events are planned in 2018 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Claudel's birth, this symposium is a separate, inter-university project.)
