Lecture Title

Ought Implies Can, Alternate Possibilities, and Asymmetrical Freedom in Kant

Lecture Abstract

Dr Scholten will be talking about new trends in the theory of moral responsibility and exoneration from a broadly Kantian perspective. This topic is not only important from a theoretical point of view, but has many implications for applied ethics as well. The lecture is an excellent opportunity for our students to learn about these important fields.
