Abstract
Mr. Urano is a leading figure in ethnomethodology research and analyzes a wide variety of phenomena using a method called conceptual analysis. Recently, he has also made unique contributions to the sociology of health and medicine, using tojisha-kenkyu (first-person research) and research on developmental disabilities as fields for his analysis. In this lecture, Mr. Urano will introduce his latest research while reflecting on the trajectory of his own work.
