Overview | Since the advent of ChatGPT, there has been significant interest in how generative AI will impact the fields of research and education. The purpose of this monthly meeting is not to focus on the technical aspects of generative AI, but rather to consider how to approach research and education in an era where generative AI is a given, by sharing use cases and other examples. Three speakers will each present on different topics: Mr. Miyata on the reactions from academic societies, publishers, and the educational and research fields; Mr. Tajima on its use as a research and writing support tool; and Mr. Miyagawa on its application to linguistic research and other areas. Following their presentations, we hope to provide an opportunity for participants to discuss the future. |
