Workshop Outline:
Since the 1960s, Seiji Shimoda has been a leading figure in performance art in Japan. He is invited to art exhibitions abroad more than five times a year and has also conducted numerous workshops overseas. In Japan, he presides over the Nippon International Performance Art Festival (NIPAF), inviting artists from Asia and Europe to hold several festivals each year. In this session, he will conduct a workshop on performance art. Participants can expect to gain diverse insights through this art form that utilizes the body.
