In sociology, you will study a variety of societies, from everyday life to different cultures, and from the past to the present. Through a wide range of courses such as cultural anthropology, social psychology, urban sociology, and medical sociology, you will gain diverse perspectives on society.
Through these studies, you will question the social norms of your own society. Social norms are something that everyone is a part of, yet they can sometimes restrict our way of life.
Studying in this major will help you understand your own difficulties created by these norms, empathize with the suffering of others, and provide clues for envisioning a society where everyone can live more easily.
