Faculty of Letters, Library and Information Science major

In the Library and Information Science major, as the name suggests, you can learn about both libraries and information. I feel that the appeal of this major is the opportunity to gain a multifaceted understanding of "information," which is indispensable in our rapidly advancing information society. Additionally, we probably have more opportunities to utilize information technology and libraries than any other major. I believe the information literacy skills we develop here will be a powerful asset not only during our university years but also after we enter the workforce.
