AY 2026 Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony

The AY 2026 Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony will be held as follows.

*The ceremony for students enrolling in on-campus programs and the Japanese Language Program (JLP) will be held at Hiyoshi Campus as shown in the table below.

*The ceremony for correspondence course students will be held at Mita Campus in conjunction with orientation and other activities. For more information, please visit the Correspondence Courses website (Japanese).

Eligibility	All on-campus undergraduate faculties, Japanese Language Program (JLP)
Date and time	Wednesday, April 1, 2026 Venue opens: 12:45 Arrive by: 13:20 Entrance ceremony: 14:00—15:10 Please arrive at the venue by no later than 13:20. *Attendees will not be permitted to enter or leave the venue once the ceremony has begun.
Venue	＜New Students＞ Hiyoshi Commemorative Hall, Hiyoshi Campus ＜Family＞Each new student may invite up to two family members Hiyoshi Campus: (1) Hiyoshi Kaido Senior High School Gymnasium (2) Fourth School Building (3) Kyoseikan Collaboration Complex Family members will first be shown to (1) the Hiyoshi Kaido Senior High School Gymnasium. When that becomes full, they will be directed to (2) the Fourth School Building. Those with physical disabilities should go directly to (3) the Kyoseikan Collaboration Complex. No reservations required Important Notes ・Refer to the map linked above for directions. ・Follow directions from staff when arriving at the venue. ・Please use public transportation when coming to the venue. ・Refrain from gathering in front of the Hiyoshi Station ticket gates or nearby areas, as this can cause issues with pedestrian traffic. ・Due to limited facilities, there may be long waits to use the restroom. Please plan accordingly when coming to the venue. To family members: *Please note that each new student may invite up to two family members to the ceremony. ・New students and their families will be in separate locations. ・The livestream of the entrance ceremony will be broadcast at the venue for families. ・While we have used experiences from past ceremonies to arrange for ample seating, please be aware of the possibility that the venue may reach capacity. ・We recommend wearing warm clothing as the weather may be cold on the day of the ceremony.
Registration	Not required
Ceremony Program	Information will be released at a later date.
Livestream	For all those who cannot attend in person, a livestream of the ceremony will be shared online. We hope that you enjoy watching the event. The recording shall remain available for viewing for several days after the ceremony.
Photo frame	Information will be released at a later date.
