From elementary school students to Ph.D. candidates, every member of Keio is encouraged to think critically and participate in the scientific method: to discover problems, formulate hypotheses, and offer new solutions for the future.
Hangaku-Hankyo ("learning while teaching, teaching while learning"): Keio makes no distinction between teacher and student in this longstanding tradition of learning. Students and teachers alike must continually learn from one another.

Global Information and Governance Academic (GIGA) Program
An international undergraduate course, taught in English, that integrates information and communication technology and governance skills.
Global Interdisciplinary Courses (GIC)
English and other foreign-language, interdisciplinary classes intended to build students' academic and research skills.
Collaborative Medical Program between the School of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Nursing
