Keio Yokohama Elementary School ──Free Creation Exhibition──

Publish: January 01, 2026

At the Keio Yokohama Elementary School Free Creation Exhibition, students from all grades view each other's work during class time and other periods. It is also a well-established tradition for students to exchange message cards with their impressions of each other's work, regardless of their grade level. In particular, fifth and sixth graders use Japanese language classes and other opportunities to present their own work in a presentation format. Works by first through third graders are displayed in the auditorium, while those by fourth graders and above are displayed in multi-purpose rooms near each classroom. For ten days immediately following the summer break, Keio Yokohama Elementary School is transformed into a space resembling a museum or art gallery.
