At Chutobu Junior High School, an exhibition is held every year in the fall (November). The exhibition is positioned primarily as a venue for the Gakugei-bu (culture clubs) to present their activities. There are 21 culture clubs at Chutobu Junior High School. You can see creative exhibition presentations, reports on training camps, and performances such as music and dance from each club. In other words, the direction is different from "individual" research or creative presentations, and it is also different from typical school festivals where each class plans an event.
This exhibition is open to the public for a half-day (afternoon) on Saturday and the full day on Sunday. No advance reservation is required, so although it is a once-a-year opportunity, we hope you will come and visit the Chutobu Junior High School exhibition. Now, let us introduce some of the content.
This is the Grade Room. Individual works are exhibited here, serving as an exhibition of independent projects.
The post-festival party is held in the gymnasium after the exhibition ends, with only Chutobu Junior High School students participating (unfortunately, the post-festival party is not open to the general public). The post-festival party features projects and performances by student volunteers. To appear in the post-festival party, students must pass an audition held in advance.
This year's post-festival party was a great success, featuring an intro quiz competition between classes and singing by student volunteers.
The student council members support this post-festival party. The Cultural Bureau of the student council plays a central role, handling most of the work including preparation, management, and emceeing. In the first place, whether or not to hold the post-festival party is decided by a vote of the entire student body every year, and even after it is decided, the student council works hard to make it happen. This can be said to well represent the Chutobu Junior High School spirit of "thinking and acting for oneself."
The exhibition is an opportunity for everyone to come together to create and present something, regardless of grade or gender. Many graduates say that the exhibition was a memorable experience. We hope you will also come and experience the atmosphere of the Chutobu Junior High School exhibition.
