In July 2025, Toshima City and Keio Research Institute at SFC concluded the Partnership Agreement on Public Health Promotion. With the Health Information Consortium (Representative: Professor Jin Nakazawa, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University) from the Keio Research Institute at SFC playing a foundational role, the agreement aims to build a healthy city in anticipation of Society 5.0—Japan’s blueprint for a super-smart society—[ベシ1.1]by applying AI and information technology to health data in a fun package.
In AY 2025, a pre-launch event was held before the opening of “My Health Maintenance Lab”—a support hub for a healthy city in Toshima City’s new public health center. Participants got to not only experience proof-of-concept demos of AI and information technologies but also have fun learning about diet and bone health, have their biometric measurements taken, and attend talks that interest them. In addition, Keio University and the Toshima City Public Health Center have worked together to develop health programs and educational materials and also plan the “ReBONE∞Festival + My Health Maintenance Lab: The ReBONE∞Day 2026 Summer Holiday Event for Kids,” in which grownups and children of all ages gathered to learn about health in an interactive manner.
