In December 2025, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University and the City of Yokohama signed a memorandum of understanding concerning the project titled “A Study on the Promotion of Decarbonization Actions and Public Awareness,” which aims to promote decarbonization actions and raise public awareness toward the realization of a green society. As part of the project, they held a series of outreach events for elementary school students, in which participants used a board game to experience environmentally friendly ways of living—that is, decarbonization actions. The educational effects of these events were subsequently examined, and the findings were compiled into a paper submitted to the AIJ Journal of Technology and Design, where it was accepted for publication.
