(1) School-based digital archiving and community learning
At three local schools (Kaifu Elementary, Kainan Elementary, and Shishikui Junior High School), children recorded their community through multimedia and compiled it into a shared digital map. Using generative AI, the program grew into future-oriented learning, including a SWOT analysis of the area and envisioning the town ten years ahead.
(2) Public-private-academic-financial workshops for community development
Workshops on education, libraries, and tourism were held using dialogue with AI virtual-resident personas built from citizen surveys. Diverse stakeholders from local government, academia, and finance took part and produced feasible, resident-centered policy ideas, which were shared on the town's official Note.
(3) Opening of the Digital Picture-Book Room
A Digital Picture-Book Room was opened inside Kainan Library, exhibiting 20 digital picture books and apps from Japan and abroad. As a place to learn through play, it promoted library use and cross-generational exchange.
