This initiative allowed participants to visualize the history and culture of Minato Ward and, leveraging the diversity of cooperating institutions, provided cross-disciplinary cultural programs. This was made possible through activities undertaken by the museum, which serves as a hub to make connections to modern society, and Keio University’s expertise. We raised external funding in various forms to conduct several activities. With the conclusion of these activities at the end of the previous academic year, we, in AY 2025, focused on establishing a foundation for future activities while maintaining the same group of project members. These efforts led to the publication of ARTLET, which compiles the activities held to date (see the link below; available for free). Lectures and tours were also held on the International House of Japan, which is scheduled to undergo renovations in the near future; these events provided an opportunity for reflection on the cultural heritage of the local community.
