The Banraisha
We invite all alumni, faculty, and staff members to utilize the Banraisha as a new gathering place for exchange that brings together people of all generations and disciplines. A lounge with a relaxed atmosphere, it is ideal for a quiet moment alone or for socializing and meeting up with others. We also have three private rooms (fee required, reservation necessary) available for use by members of the Mita-kai and other alumni for meetings, discussions, study sessions, and similar gatherings.

Users
The facility is open to Keio University alumni, faculty, and staff members. However, accompanying persons may enter whether or not they are alumni, faculty, or staff members.
Upon entering, you will be required to present your Keio Card for user identification purposes. If you do not have your card, you will be asked to provide your name, year of graduation, and other details.
*The “Keio Card” is a credit card issued through a partnership between Keio University, Keio Academic Enterprise (affiliated organization), and a credit card company.
Opening Hours
Monday through Saturday: 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:45)
Excludes Sundays, national holidays, summer break, year-end and New Years holidays, and other university-designated closing days such as university entrance examination periods.
On occasions such as Keio Foundation Day (April 23) and the Mita Festival (including preparation days), the Banraisha may close temporarily or close earlier than usual. Please ask Banraisha staff for details.

Important Notes Regarding Use
Use of the facility will be denied if the event is deemed to fall under any of the following categories.
An event that may be contrary to public order and decency
An event that poses the risk of damage to the facility
An event that is inappropriate for a place of education and research, such as those intended to propagate specific ideologies or beliefs
An event that may disturb other users in the facility or surrounding area
An event for predominantly commercial purposes
Other events that do not comply with the facility’s operating policies
Please refrain from the following when using the facility
Exclusive use of the lounge and entire facility
Holding receptions (parties) (other than in private rooms)
Bringing food and drinks from outside into the lounge and private rooms
Bringing in animals other than guide dogs and service dogs
Bringing in flammable materials or hazardous substances
Smoking (smoking is prohibited throughout the building)
Use of the facility to send or receive mail, packages, or other deliveries is strictly prohibited.
Individual billing is not available for groups of 8 or more. Additionally, individual billing may be declined depending on circumstances.
Use of Private Rooms
Effective April 1, 2021, the fee for use of the private rooms will be ¥1,100 per room per hour (including consumption tax; maximum 2 hours per use).
When using a private room, we kindly ask that each person order at least one food or beverage item (Please refrain from bringing outside food or drinks into the private room)
If no cancellation is made at least 5 business days prior to the date of use, a cancellation fee (equivalent to the private room usage fee) will be charged.
Please use the private rooms within the occupancy limit and refrain from reserving for more people than said limit.
Reservation of Private Rooms
In principle, the use of private rooms is by reservation only. Reservations will be accepted from 10:00 on the first day of the month two months prior to the intended date of use (or the next business day if that day is a holiday) until three business days prior to the intended date of use.

Important Notes Regarding Use of Private Rooms
Usage hours are strictly from 11:00 to 21:00, including preparation and exit time.
Please note that the staff will not change the layout of the desks and chairs. After use, please return desks, chairs, and other items to their original positions. When you are finished using the room, please notify Banraisha staff.

Faculty Club
A facility for various parties such as Mita-kai meetings, class reunions, and alumni events. There is also a lunch menu, so we welcome you to visit with friends or on your own. A guest room (private room) is also available. Please feel free to contact us.
