(A 15-minute walk from Hiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, Tokyu Meguro Line, Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line, and Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line)

Job Title and Number of Positions

Temporary staff member (part-time), 1 position

Work Days and Hours

Approximately 2–5 days per week, for about 3–7 hours per day. Both work days and hours are negotiable.

Contract Period
As soon as possible from May 2025

*Single-year contract (renewable on or after April 1, 2026, by mutual agreement)

Working Conditions
Salary: 1,200 JPY or more per hour (negotiable)

Transportation allowance: Provided (up to the equivalent of a 120 km JR commuter pass; bus fare is covered only for distances of 1 km or more in a straight line)

Social insurance: Fully equipped with health insurance, employees' pension insurance, employment insurance, etc. (for those who meet the eligibility requirements)

Paid Leave

Granted in accordance with the Labor Standards Act

Job Description
Administrative assistance, accounting, various procedures related to business trips, mail handling, general affairs in the laboratory, preparation and support for lectures, classes, events, research projects, etc.

Qualifications
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Ability to handle email correspondence.

• Ability to use Keio University's dedicated systems based on manuals and other explanatory materials.

• Ability to check documents and data for errors, and to create documents and data appropriately by referring to regulations as needed.

• Proficiency in business etiquette and ability to work cooperatively.

• Experience as an administrative assistant at a university is welcome.
