The recipient of the 2024 Fumiko Yonezawa Award has been selected.
On April 1, 2020, the "Keio University Graduate School of Science and Technology Fumiko Yonezawa Scholarship Fund" was established based on a donation from Ms. Rumiko, the eldest daughter of the late Professor Emeritus Fumiko Yonezawa of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology. Subsequently, the Graduate School of Science and Technology established the Fumiko Yonezawa Award. This award is presented to women who have made outstanding achievements in their research activities at the Graduate School of Science and Technology and achieved success in international activities, with the aim of "encouraging women scientists."
On March 24, 2025, the recipient of this award was presented with a certificate of commendation and a supplementary prize (an award plaque).
