The Fujiwara Scholarship of the Faculty of Science and Technology and Graduate School of Science and Technology was established in 1997 with a donation from Mr. Yuzo Fujiwara. With the goal of cultivating talented individuals who can contribute to the world through science and technology, the fund has provided scholarships for students actively engaged in international activities and recognized students for their achievements in socially acclaimed extracurricular activities, awarding the Fujiwara Prize and Fujiwara Scholarships to a total of over 1,000 students.
This year, a social gathering for past Fujiwara Prize winners and scholarship recipients was held on Saturday, July 13. About 100 participants gathered at the venue, the Kojunsha building in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
