The 2023 and 2024 Fujiwara Scholarship award ceremony and celebratory party were held at Sosokan on Yagami Campus on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

The Faculty of Science and Technology was formerly the Fujiwara Institute of Technology, which was donated to Keio University by the late Mr. Ginjiro Fujiwara.

In 1997, the Fujiwara Scholarship was established with funds donated by Mr. Yuzo Fujiwara, the current head of the Fujiwara family, for the purpose of encouraging students' extracurricular activities and supporting international students.

In honor of the aspirations of Mr. Ginjiro Fujiwara, who encouraged students in their studies, the Fujiwara Scholarship carries out activities such as providing scholarships and recognizing undergraduate and graduate students (the Fujiwara Prize) to fulfill his wishes.

This time, scholarships were awarded to 21 graduate students (five graduate student scholars for AY 2023, twelve graduate student scholars for AY 2024, and four international student scholars for AY 2024).

After the award ceremony, a celebratory party was held, which included the Fujiwara Prize winners. Mr. Fujiwara offered words of encouragement, inspiring the recipients to become individuals who can play an active role on the world stage, and the event provided a lively venue for social exchange.
