On Wednesday, January 17, and Thursday, January 18, 2024, the annual "Final Lectures by Retiring Faculty Members of the Faculty of Science and Technology" were held in a HyFlex format at the Multi-Media Room on the B2 floor of the Sosokan building on Yagami Campus and via Zoom webinar. Eight faculty members retiring at the end of this academic year gave their lectures.

Each lecture was a dense presentation, condensing a long career of education and research into about 40 minutes. At the end of each talk, the speakers were met with tremendous applause and presented with bouquets of flowers.
