The person who discovers the emergency or a related individual calls the fire department (119).

After calling the fire department, report it to the security office (045-566-1474).

Only on weekdays (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.):

Contact the Student Life Section of the Office of Student Services (045-566-1466).
(The Student Life Section of the Office of Student Services will also notify the Health Services Center.)

When making the call, please remain calm and provide accurate information. First, clearly state whether it is a fire or a medical emergency.

(1) Dial 119.
You can call 119 from a mobile phone by simply dialing 119 without an area code.
(2) State that it is a medical emergency ("Kyukyu desu").
(3) State the location.
(e.g., Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, 3-14-1 Hiyoshi, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama)
(4) Describe the injury or accident.
(e.g., A 20-year-old male broke his right leg while playing catch on the athletic field.)
(5) Give your name and the phone number you are currently using.
(e.g., "My name is [Your Name]. The phone number I am using is [Your Phone Number].")
