School of Informatics, Management, and Human Sciences—Curriculum of Industrial and Systems Engineering

Crafting management tools for social systems through ingenuity and diversity

The Curriculum of Industrial and Systems Engineering is an advanced program that explores management engineering from interdisciplinary perspectives based on the four major management resources used in social systems: people, goods, information, and capital. The curriculum provides an environment in which students can systematically acquire cutting-edge theories and technologies based on four core academic areas: humans and systems, applied statistics and optimization, information science and artificial intelligence, and management and economics. Through these areas, students will become the next generation of interdisciplinary thought leaders, developing innovative systems and applied technologies to solve real-world problems.
