Aiming for a free, safe, and secure society based on communication technology: Ohtsuki Laboratory, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University. In recent years, wireless communication has become an integral part of our daily lives, as seen in the rapid spread of mobile phones. However, due to the limited available frequencies, transmission speeds are slower than those of optical fibers, call quality can fluctuate, and there are risks such as eavesdropping. At the Ohtsuki Laboratory, we are developing communication technologies based on information theory and signal processing to solve such problems.
