Abstract: Our technology is far from sufficient to foresee and respond to these unprecedented crises.

Digitalization that creates value and disruptive innovation are required.

However, we are also facing a sustainability crisis in ICT due to the rapid increase in power consumption accompanying the explosive growth of data volume.

NTT is proposing and promoting IOWN, which aims to realize a sustainable society based on energy-efficient optical technology.
