Functional Materials Design Laboratory (Professor Tetsuhiko Isobe) - Aiming to Establish a Foundation for Photoenergy-Converting Nanophosphors

Various forms of "light," such as in displays and lighting, are involved in our daily lives.

Recently, LEDs have been gaining attention as a form of energy-saving lighting, and they utilize light-emitting materials called "phosphors."

The Isobe Laboratory at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, is conducting research and development on these phosphors.
