The Terakawa Laboratory at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, conducts research on technologies that contribute to industry, biology, and medicine by exploring and utilizing the interaction between lasers and matter.
The main pillars of our research are laser processing, microstructures, and the application of lasers to medicine and biology. We are particularly focused on processing with femtosecond lasers, which enables much finer fabrication than conventional lasers widely used in industry.
