Onoe Laboratory - Creating New Systems by Integrating Various Materials with Microfabrication Technology

The Hiroaki Onoe Laboratory, part of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University, leverages micro- and nanoscale fabrication as a foundational technology. Our research focuses on developing methods to construct systems that integrate a wide range of materials at various scales—from functional molecular devices and polymer materials like hydrogels to biological materials such as cells and tissues—and on exploring the novel systems that these methods create.
