At the Laboratory for Molecular Engineering of Life, Department of Biosciences and Informatics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, we use original methods such as evolutionary molecular engineering and artificial cell engineering to "create" the molecules and cells that constitute life. Through this research, we aim to deepen our understanding of life and to create molecules and artificial cells that are useful for medicine and environmental energy.
