In the Narushima Laboratory, we conduct research on operations research, with a particular focus on mathematical optimization. Mathematical optimization problems arise in various fields, including engineering and social sciences. With the advancement of information technology and the increasing complexity of society, these problems have become more complex and larger in scale. Our research addresses both aspects of this challenge: modeling such problems and developing algorithms to effectively solve them.
