Yuta Sugiura Laboratory, Department of Information and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University: Researching Next-Generation User Interfaces to Improve QOL

This laboratory focuses on research into next-generation user interfaces to improve quality of life. LCLAB is building foundational technologies to accelerate the development of next-generation user interfaces, such as a digital twin platform that enables their rapid prototyping. In addition, we collaborate with experts in fields such as medicine, health, support for people with disabilities, childcare, and entertainment to expand the realm of new experiences that user interfaces can offer, developing applications that can, for example, identify conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome. Our research aims to create user interfaces that contribute to people's well-being and shape the lifestyles of the future.
