Mina Isoda
Graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies in 2009
Lifestyle and Food Program Department, Production Center 1, Production Bureau, NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation)
I joined NHK with the desire to create programs that convey subjects I'm passionate about and make viewers want to root for them. I am now working as a director on the morning information program "Asaichi."
While at SFC, I was a member of the first cohort of the Yuko Shoji Lab, where I worked on the research theme "Effective Life Skills in Elementary Schools," implementing a life skills program in schools as part of our group work. I also have fond memories of practicing all over campus and holding concerts with my a cappella club.
Looking back, my experiences in the lab and club activities were unique to SFC, where people from diverse backgrounds came together, each contributing their expertise and sharing roles to create something new. I strongly feel that this experience is directly applicable to and valuable in program production today, which also involves collaboration among people from various professions.
