UMAC Tokyo Seminar 2019: University Museums as Cultural Commons: Interdisciplinary Research and Education in Museums
As a post-conference of the annual conference of the International Committee for University Museums and Collections (UMAC) at the general conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) at Kyoto, I co-organized the UMAC Tokyo Seminar 2019 organized jointly by Keio University Art Center and Keio Museum Commons. University museum professionals from around the world gathered to share and discuss contemporary issues from various viewpoints for two days, which also included guided tours to university museums and cultural institutions in Tokyo.
