Biography
Researcher profile
I specialize in sports biomechanics, which considers human movement from the viewpoint of mechanics and mathematics, and sports engineering, which is an engineering research field related to sports. As a former swimmer and coach, I am also involved in research related to swimming. In recent years, I have been involved in research in medicine and physical therapy as well as sports, and also been involved in research and development for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition, I also involved in motion analysis of racehorses.
General introduction
研究テーマは「スポーツバイオメカニクス」，「スポーツ工学」、「スポーツ情報科学」です。運動者に装着可能なセンサデータロガーの開発と、得られるデータからスポーツ技能を見出すアルゴリズムの開発、さらにはこうしたセンサデータを用いたスポーツコーチングを目指しています。
