Indoor environment is under the influence of building operating circumstances and outdoor environment which are continuously changing in operational phase and difficult to predict. It is therefore hard to achieve optimal control of indoor environment. To cope with this problem, we developed optimal control method based on learning ability. Learning ability is a notable feature of life and it may achieve optimal determination autonomously. This paper reports the concept of the optimal control method and a feasibility study on HVAC system in intermediate season. Results of experiment indicate that developed control system reduces considerable amount of air conditioning energy consumption without worsening indoor thermal environment.

深刻化する地球環境時代のもと建築分野においては建築物のサステナビリティを向上させることが必要とされている。建築環境性能を評価する指標としてＣＡＳＢＥＥが普及しているが、温暖化の原因であるＣＯ２に関して明示的に評価されていない。本研究では、ＣＡＳＢＥＥすまいにおけるＬＣＣＯ２評価手法を開発し、2050年までの住宅分野におけるＣＯ２削減目標を達成しうるシナリオを環境性能を用いて提示する。

Under the Paris Agreement, Japan promises reducing 26 % from greenhouse gas emissions in 2013 by 2030. We have proposed a concept of Cluster Energy Management System, CEMS, which can design a highly saving-energy network based on demand simulation of communities consisting various different residents. As an example of CEMS designing a good thermal and electricity demand-balance among a network of residential houses, commercial and nursing facilities is introduced. The network can use almost whole exhaust heat from distributed power plant such as fuel cell with solar power and thermal utilization. We can simulated saving about 40 % in prime-energy consumption and about 45 % reduction of CO2 emission by designing an example case of the CEMS, which combines fuel cells and electric vehicles in a community, where 200 families including elderly people are living. We concluded that it would be possible to reduce primary energy consumption and CO2 emission by nearly a half amount or more by introducing the CEMS.

Many research papers have been published on the potential effects of indoor thermal environment of in offices on productivity. However, improving indoor environmental conditions causes increase of energy consumption about air-conditioning system. This paper reports a filed intervention survey on thermal environmental effects on the performance in an actual office on energy saving measure. When thermal environment changed, the performance is improved by 7.3% with room temperature.

These years residential energy consumption has been increasing sharply in China along with the high economics growth. Thus people pay mush more attention to the issues of reducing the energy consumption and CO2 emission. This study chose Shanghai's residential buildings as a subject, and forecasted the CO2 emission of it for the coming 40 years. In addition, various proposals with high feasibility have been suggested in order to combat global warming, and their effects on CO2 emission's reduction have been considerate as well.
