Research

Reseach overview

My current research focuses on the development of (bio)analytical systems, with particular emphasis on low-cost, user-friendly devices for applications in healthcare, environmental monitoring, food safety, and biological analysis. By integrating functional materials with paper-based and microfluidic platforms using modern fabrication techniques such as printing and 3D structuring, we create highly reproducible sensing devices that can be operated without specialized training. In parallel, we explore emerging approaches such as CRISPR-based assays and bioluminescence methods to expand the capabilities of next-generation analytical technologies.
