マネジメント・コントロール，業績評価，そして，組織と人間の行動に関心をもっています。組織が目標を達成するために，会計情報をはじめとする「仕組み」は組織に必要ですが，その基盤となるのは人間の心理であることもまた事実です。「マネジメント・コントロール」が会計情報を扱うとともに組織および人間行動と密接であることを念頭におきつつ，研究を続けています。近年は，日本企業におけるマネジメント・コントロールの仕組みをどのように説明すべきなのかを考えています。
