The academic paper seminar "Publishing in international journals -Communicating your research clearly-" was held on July 13, 2016, at the Yagami Campus. Targeting researchers aiming to publish papers in international academic journals, the seminar featured Mr. Simon Buckmaster, who is in charge of society journals in the Asia region (including Japan) at IOP Publishing (Institute of Physics Publishing). He shared tips for writing papers, deepened understanding of the submission process and acceptance mechanisms, and introduced the benefits of disseminating research results and examples of the ripple effects of information dissemination. A total of 49 attendees, primarily young researchers, listened intently to the essentials and techniques of journal selection, paper writing, and submission.
