"Regional Core and Distinctive Research Universities" Project

We present some of our achievements in line with the five future visions established during the process of responding to the interim evaluation.

Future Vision 1: A university with enriched interdisciplinary and cross-departmental research

Supported by URAs from each campus, interdisciplinary research integrating humanities and sciences was selected for the "Human-Information Ecosystem" R&D area (https://www.jst.go.jp/ristex/hite/index.html)

Future Vision 2: A university capable of advanced and impactful research

Through coordination by specialist URAs, three industry-academic collaboration projects (https://www.pha.keio.ac.jp/research/rcdd/index.html) were launched, aiming to return drug discovery research results to society and foster excellent international talent

Future Vision 3: A university with active international talent exchange and joint research

Full-time URAs contributed to the conclusion of a partnership agreement (http://www.kgri.keio.ac.jp/news-event/044178.html) for a joint research project titled "The 'Shape' of Post-war Japan" with the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies at Harvard University
