As part of its "Contribution to a Sustainable Society," Keio University is engaged in environmental education, research, and practice. Regarding this, a collaborative advertisement for the MEXT Program for Promoting the Enhancement of Research Universities was published in Science (28 March 2014).
Some of the university's initiatives related to the "environment" are introduced.
